Meet for a complimentary in home consultation to assess the feasibility of your project, share initial design concepts and discuss budget. A client reference list, sample specification sheet and contract will be provided following this appointment.

We begin the conceptual design phase with a signed agreement and a design retainer of $3,000–$6,000, depending on project scope. During this phase, we explore design options, develop conceptual drawings, and review feasibility with the building department and trade partners. If the project moves forward to construction with us, 50% of the design retainer is credited toward the contract cost.

Provide a preliminary rough estimate based on final conceptual design and scope of work. This allows the clients to determine if they wish to proceed forward. This completes the conceptual design phase.

Begin project development phase with a signed contract and retainer, typically in the $3,000-$5000 range. Develop working drawings required for structural engineering and building permits. Work with our designer to refine interior layouts and material selections. A specification sheet and fixed-bid contract will be developed from the final design and selections.

Review and sign construction contract, collect deposit and apply for permits.

Develop a project timeline, order materials and conduct a pre-construction meeting.

Construction begins and progresses through various stages as they relate to your remodel. Continual updates will be provided through email and text. Periodic on-site walk through’s to discuss project status as well as various details keep our clients in the loop. Progress payments are scheduled by milestones achieved in the project.
